Strawberry Candy Daylily is a fast and moderate growing perennial plant that can be grown in USDA Plant Hardiness Zones 5A through 10B. It matures to an average height of 2 feet to 3 feet and an average width of 2 feet to 3 feet, depending on climate and other environmental factors. It prefers growing in a location that provides full sun and grows best when planted in loam, clay or silt soil that is well drained. In the summer and fall Strawberry Candy Daylily produces yellow, pink, fuchsia and rose pink flowers. The foliage is medium green and dark green in color. It attracts butterflies, hummingbirds and visual attention and is resistant to drought, insects, mildew and heat.

Strawberry Candy Daylily can be useful in the landscape along woodland borders, in mass plantings, in foundation plantings, as a border or edger, around decks, swimming pools, and other outdoor living areas, as a focal point, in landscape beds or islands, to accentuate entryways, in small groupings or mailbox plant and also in cottage gardens, butterfly gardens, hummingbird gardens or perennial gardens.
