Additional Information About Mars Seedless Grape - Vitis labrusca 'Mars Seedless'

Vitis Labrusca 'Mars Seedless' is a fast growing vining plant and fruit bearing plant that can be grown in USDA Plant Hardiness Zones 5A through 8B. It prefers growing in a location that provides full sun or morning shade with afternoon sun and grows best when planted in sand, loam, clay or silt soil that is well drained or moderately drained. In the spring Mars Seedless Grape produces white flowers. The foliage is medium green in color. It attracts wildlife and visual attention and is resistant to drought, insects, diseases, mildew and heat.

Mars Seedless Grape can be useful in the landscape around decks, swimming pools, and other outdoor living areas or as a climber and also in cottage gardens.

This grape is well suited for areas with hot summers. Mars Seedless produces heavy crops of medium sized delectable fruits similar in flavor to the Concord. It is a 'slipskin' variety which means the skin is easy to remove.

to no fault of gardeners direct, it spent 8 days in shipping. Gardeners direct has been great to communicate with. I'm still trying to revive it. It has not died yet, but has not really started to show great improvement. Gardeners direct has stated they will replace it if it dies. We shall see what happens
