More about 'Chaucer' Rabbiteye Blueberry...

A 1985, University of Florida release, Chaucer has a vigorous, spreading growth habit, and is a mid-season ripening Rabbiteye variety. Chaucer has demonstrated heavy fruit yields, but flowers early, making it more susceptible to damage from late frosts/freezing in the more northerly areas of its growing zones. Chaucer lacks a dry stem scar, so it is best when eaten/processed within shorter time spans after harvesting.
