More About Onyx Odyssey Helleborus...Helleborus are one of our favorite perennials for the shade garden. For one, they're long-lived evergreens. Two, they produce their beautiful nodding flowers during winter, when not much else is blooming in our gardens. One of the Winter Jewel Series, 'Onyx Odyssey' Hellebore is an outstanding selection displaying double, purple and black flowers with prominent soft yellow stamens that come in late winter and persist through spring holding their color well.
