Green Pittosporum is a fast growing shrub that can be grown in USDA Plant Hardiness Zones 8A through 10B. It matures to an average height of 5 feet to 30 feet and an average width of 4 feet to 6 feet, depending on climate and other environmental factors. It prefers growing in a location that provides full sun, shade, morning sun with afternoon shade, morning shade with afternoon sun or filtered sun and grows best when planted in sand, loam, clay or silt soil that is well drained, moderately drained or moderately wet. In the spring Green Pittosporum produces white flowers. The foliage is medium green in color.

Green Pittosporum is a compact, evergreen shrub with large, leathery, lustrous dark green foliage. Creamy white fragrant flowers appear in spring. This shrub gives a tropical look to the landscape. 

Uses

Excellent for use as a single specimen shrub or small tree form, in groupings, flowering shrub borders, natural hedges, clipped formal hedge, visual screen or wind and noise buffer, home foundation plantings, container gardens, wildlife gardens, and asian theme gardens.

Prefers full sun to part shade. Grows well in most soil types. Well drained soil with low to average water needs. Can be limbed up from the bttom to create a smaller tree form specimen.
