Noteworthy Characteristics
The Green Sargent Juniper with its heavily branched, low spreading growth habit with dense coverage makes it one of the best junipers for erosion control and mass plantings. It has rich emerald green foliage and grows 2-3' High and 5-6' Wide.
Uses
Green Sargent Juniper is excellent for use as a groundcover on large to small slopes and embankments, as a border in landscape beds, or as a low-growing foundation shrub. It is equally useful in small groups or as an underplanting for small trees such as the Japanese maple and crape myrtle.
Culture & Care Tips
Green Sargent Juniper is very easy to grow and is very low maintenance; requiring no pruning unless to maintain a shape. It adapts to a wide variety of soils provided they are well-drained. It prefers full sun to mostly sun
