Additional Information About Dogwood Azalea

Dogwood Azalea is a moderate growing shrub that can be grown in USDA Plant Hardiness Zones 8A through 10B. It matures to an average height of 3 feet to 4 feet and an average width of 3 feet to 4 feet, depending on climate and other environmental factors. It prefers growing in a location that provides morning sun with afternoon shade or filtered sun and grows best when planted in loam, clay or silt soil that is well drained. In the spring Dogwood Azalea produces white and rose pink flowers. It attracts hummingbirds and visual attention and is resistant to diseases and heat.

Dogwood Azalea can be useful in the landscape along woodland borders, in mass plantings, in foundation plantings, in containers or planters, in shrub borders, around decks, swimming pools, and other outdoor living areas, as an accent, under a shade tree, in landscape beds or islands or to accentuate entryways and also in theme gardens or cottage gardens.

NIce size bush. Evidence of lace bug on older foliage. I assume it has been sprayed. New foliage is pretty.

Reply from Gardener Direct:

Thanks Dale! We spray everything before we ship them out just for that reason. Enjoy!
