It prefers growing in a location that provides full sun and grows best when planted in sand, loam, clay or silt soil that is well drained.

Belle of Georgia Peach combines good yields, hardiness and disease resistance, and is one of the best varieties for use in home orchards. The fruit is large in size, has a light color skin with a red cheek, and has an excellent, sweet flavor. Trees are hardy, disease resistant and self fertile.
