Noteworthy Characteristics
Guaranteed to brighten the sunny or shady areas of your garden with its variegated white and green foliage. Shady Lady Anise bush also bears light pink flowers in late spring. It's a wonderful addition to any shade or woodland garden. Shady Lady attains an upright, rounded shape with open branches, especially in very shady situations where it grows to about 5 feet in height with an equal spread. Grows moderatly fast and looks better with each year that passes.
Uses
Shady Lady Anise is useful in the landscape as a an eyecatching specimen, in groups for splashes of color, or as a brightly colored natural hedge. It is also useful as a single specimen, in flowering shrub borders, shrub borders, or as an accent in home foundation plantings.
Culture
Grow Shady Lady Anise in a lightly acid, organic-rich soil that is moist. This plant is best located in shade to partial shade. Morning sun until noon is okay. Maintenance is minimal except for a snipping here or there of a stray branch.
