Grey Owl Juniper
Juniperus virginiana 'Grey Owl'

Grey Owl Juniper is know for it's outstanding blue-grey foliage color. The horizontal, gracefully ascending branches that droop at the ends, and the feathery, thread-like foliage adds a soft texture and contrasts nicely with many other plants in the landscape; particularly those with dark green purple, red, burgundy or golden foliage.  Easy to grow and very low maintenance when left to grow natural. Tolerates a variety of soils provided they are well-drained. Prefers full sun to mostly sun.

Grey Owl Juniper is useful planted in mass as a fast-growing groundcover on slopes and embankments, as a border or stand alone specimen in landscape beds and islands, as a colorful accent in foundation plantings, or as a natural hedge.
