Ilex crenata 'Helleri'

Heleri Holly, a member of the Japanese Holly family (Ilex crenata), is a low mounding evergreen shrub with small, rounded, boxwood-like, dark green leaves. Because it responds so well to shearing into formal shapes and hedges, and it's low growth habit, Helleri has been widely used as a foundation plant or underplanting for small trees such as crape myrtle. This low growing shrub is perfect for use under low windows and other areas that you need a low growing shrub.
