"I've searched for these plants for quite a while and I was so pleased to find them at a great price that I really didn't expect too much from the plants.  They arrived very quickly and and I have to say they far exceeded my expectations!  The plants were mature and very healthy and I will definitely be ordering from you again!"

Dwarf Burfordi Holly
Ilex cornuta 'Burfordii Nana'

Dwarf Burfordi Holly is perhaps one of the most popular berry producing ornamental shrubs. The bright red fall and winter berries are very showy, long-lasting, and attractive to birds. The thick, ovate leaves are dark green, shiny, and have one point at the end. When left to grow naturally, Dwarf Burford forms a dense rounded mound to 6 feet tall with an equal spread. Exceptionally low maintenance and never needs pruning when placed and spaced properly, however can be pruned to keep a more formal shape or to limb up as a small tree. Dwarf Burfordi holly is useful as a staggered or straight formal or informal hedge for landscape borders or in foundation plantings. It also makes an attractive specimen when "limbed up" to form a small tree. Thrives in full sun to mostly shade and average to moist well-drained soils.
