Harbour Dwarf Nandina
Nandina domestica 'Harbour Dwarf'

Harbour Dwarf Nandina is a lower growing variety of bamboo nandina that reaches about 15 to 18 inches in height with a spread of about 2 feet. Just like it's parent, it produces panicles of white, star-shaped flowers in late spring or early summer. The flowers are followed by clusters of showy red berries that provide nice color through winter. The dark green, finely-textured, evergreen foliage turns to attractive maroon-red during winter. Grows to about 2' tall and spreads by small suckers on branches. Easy to grow in well-drained soils. No disease or insect problems. Berries are attractive to birds.

Harbour Dwarf Nandina is ideal for use as a border or groundcover in sunny or shady landscape beds and foundation plantings.
