Autumn Princess Encore Azalea
Rhododendron Hybrid - Azalea X 'Roblea'

Autumn Princess produces an abundance of striking, salmon color double blooms in spring and fall and sporadically during summer. It's color show doesn't end with the blooms. During winter the foliage turns a gorgeous burgundy hue. It's compact growth habit and height of 3.5 feet makes it useful under low windows in foundation plantings. It is also useful planted in small or large groupings in landscape beds, as a low informal hedge, or singularly in containers. Performs particularly well under tall pine trees. As with most azaleas, this one prefers acidic, well-drained moist soil, but does not like consistently wet feet. Will tolerate full sun, however prefers some afternoon shade. Attracts butterflies.
