Asian Jasmine (Asiatic Jasmine)
Trachelspermum asiaticum

Asian Jasmine is a dense, fast growing, trailing groundcover plant for large areas. The small, oval leaves are rich green in color and shiny. Usually this plant is evergreen, however, severe cold may cause it to drop some foliage. It prefers moist, well-drained, well-prepared soil for best establishment. After the first year, it is drought tolerant. Useful as a groundcover in large, shady beds and under large trees. Also can be grown in hanging baskets and container plantings. Will climb with support. Tolerates deep shade to full sun, however likes some shade in the afternoon in southern zones. See more details
